This is a place I have wanted to try for some time as I go to events in that area. I finally had a chance to with my daughter. We were there for an early dinner - a little after 5pm. Service was OK. The man who seated up seemed brusque but the waitress was nice. We opted for no appetizers. Daughter asked (after seeing they had a bar) if they could make a Shirley Temple (ginger ale and grenadine). Waitress had no idea what grenadine was and then said they did not have it. Grenadine is pretty common in many drinks and since it LOOKED like there was a bar, we thought they would but they are just beer and wine from the looks of it. Daughter got short stack of pancakes. I got fettuccine alfredo with shrimp and a salad bar. Pancakes - odd yellow color and daughter said they did not taste like plain or buttermilk pancakes. Wondering if they had corn meal in them but do not remember seeing that on the menu. My salad bar - disappointing. Things were not being refilled. Lettuce tray looked wilting and it was down to the white parts of iceburg lettuce and was in need of refilling. Cukes - just a couple left. I do not mind a limited salad bar as long as things are refilled. It was far from busy there (maybe half a dozen families) so no excuse for not attending to the salad bar. Fettuccine - alfredo sauce was stringy - like mozzarella was added. Bland. No seasoning. Shrimp was overpoweringly salty as if they had been cooked in heavily salted water. I barely ate half of it. I have had better tasting sauce from a jar. We opted to bail on dessert based on the quality of the meal. At the end the man who sat us (assuming he was the manager) rushed over and asked if things were OK then rushed away. Could not see the need for rushing - again it was far from crowded. We will not be going back - and we go to events in that area several times a year.

What's all the hype about? Spent Anniversary dinner here... Subpar. Friendly staff. Clean. Ordered scallops in a cream sauce. More onions than anything else :/ Hubby ordered chicken fajita. Bland. Dry. Very disappointed. On a positive note - restaurant supports the troops & offer 10% military discount.

Just left this horrid place from lunch with my family and all I can say is do NOT eat here. Server nice but food was unedible and undercooked so we let them know and all they could say was "we will give you a discount". Really? Didn't even offer us something else to eat instead my husband and I both had 9.00 meals same thing both did not eat and when we went to pay the discount we got off of a 50.00 check it was a whopping $1.05. Wow is all I can say. And to add to it the staff was extremely rude to us!! We are locals and like to support the community but this was unacceptable!! STAY AWAY from this place. If I can put No Stars I would

Just had lunch there today. Was planning on going for dinner next week and thought I'd give it a once over first. Glad I did. The food was just awful. Clam chowder tasted strange, not appetizing. They had a chicken croquette as a lunch special. It was served imbedded in a serving of mashed potatoes and covered with a bright yellow liquid I presume was meant to be chicken gravey. It even looked nasty. One bite and I knew I was in trouble. Just, Yuk! Pickled beets were tasteless and, simply, not pickled, just covered with some gritty spices. When I went in I remembered being there once before for breakfast and thinking it was pretty bad. Nothing has changed. Run the other way!

I like the Grille as a go-to spot for any meal. Breakfast on Sunday gets pretty busy. That is a good sign. Lunches are pretty good too. Burgers, clubs and wraps are tasty and come with some pretty good fries. The salad bar is smaller but adequately stocked. Soups change daily and are good overall but the chicken noodle is simply yum. Dinner entrees are varied and there are always dinner specials which are good choices. The staff is always always always friendly and attentive. Food comes quickly and its all very reasonably priced. And there is a bar! How cool is that? So if you're local, like us, and looking for some variety, or hauling it up 95 and wanting a meal that doesn't come to you from the drive-by window, make this your choice.

Have been here several times for lunch and it's decent diner food. Stopped in on Sunday after church and was surprised to find out that after 11 am they charge more to make anything from the breakfast menu! I guess I'm used to the diners in Jersey where the food is better and you can order anything at any time and they don't change the price.

We talked to someone regarding reservations for their banquet room. Unfortunately after 3 attempts to get information from the manager I still hadn't received a call from him. This is not acceptable.

This place is just ok...... The previous reviewers are correct about breakfast. This is a decent breakfast diner and they have a good menu of your typical breakfast items. I am not so impressed with lunch/dinner. My wife and I recently visited for dinner and had sandwiches (a gyro and a club) and they were nothing to write home about. Both of our sides of fries had absolutely no seasoning. I ordered a cup of soup as an appetizer which took about 10 minutes. As soon as the soup was in front of me, my dinner arrived. The restaurant was virtually empty. I assume the soup needed some love in the microwave. When we arrived at the cashier to pay, we encountered what I can only assume as one of the owners or managers arguing with a server over $.50 and some cheese that did not melt on a sandwich. If you are arguing over $.50, it might explain why your restaurant was dead/empty at 7pm. Will I return? Breakfast: yes. Dinner: no.

After a very long drive we stopped here for breakfast and were very disappointed. All of the staff from host to server were unpleasant. Frowns, no friendliness or helpful attitudes here. It took a very long time to get coffee and place our order, and another long wait to get the food that was just acceptable. We would not recommend this place

Breakfast is fast and pretty good. Not friendly service but quick. I ate the hot cakes and fluffy and delicious . Hollandaise sauce from powder. Might try dinner.

I have never been here for lunch or dinner but stop in twice a month for breakfast. My girls love it here and so do I. Every time I go I always get the same thing:) Chipped beef gravy over home fries and a side order of scrapple. When it comes out a huge plate is covered in chipped beef and underneath is a mountain of potatoes. The scrapple is always cut thick and has a buttery taste which really sets it apart from other places. The girls, like me, always get the same thing. My oldest always gets the Ham and Cheese omelet with home fries and toast. It is chocked full of ham and the omelet is light and fluffy. It must be really good because she eats it all:) My youngest always gets the scrambled eggs, home fries, toast and scrapple. There is never a lot left on her plate either. The wait staff is always friendly, service is stellar, and it is clean! I would definitely stop by here for breakfast if you are ever in town!

Food was pretty lousy. Ribs were tough. Mixed vegetables inedible. Fries were the coated fake jobs. Lamest salad bar i have ever seen. Nice, albeit inattentive waitress. The only thing worth his weight was the bus boy who worked hard.
